Since leaving professional football a little over five years ago, to be more of a fixture in my family, I got involved in the real estate business. In that amount of time I have had the opportunity to be involved in 80+ transactions and growing. These transactions have been widely varied. As a result, I have gained significant experience within the field. Some of these experiences include bank owned real estate or REO”s, Short Sales, Probates, Tax Liens Auctions, Regular sales, investment properties, and much more.
Initially, I got into real estate to “flip” houses. After being in the industry for a while I realized how much I enjoyed the entire process of buying and selling. The search for a home I find intriguing, as well as the negotiations of selling a home. In the end, getting to see how excited people are to begin anew in their home, I find to be very rewarding. In some ways it stills feels like coaching. You know, having a goal, striving to achieve it, working through a step by step process until the desired outcome is reached. I see a great correlation between the two career paths.
Lastly, the National Association of Realtors says that most consumers run into at least 3 to 4 people a year that are thinking about buying or selling a home. I hope that when this happens to you this year that you think of me. Your endorsement is my best advertising! All the best to you as we head into the last quarter of 2015! Don”t hesitate to call me with any questions.
